Sigiriya Frescos

Sigiriya is an ancient rock fortress and castle situated in the Matale District of Sri Lanka.It was built during the reign of King Kashyapa (AD 477 - 495).The Sigiriya frescos(graffiti) re very similar to those at Ajanta Caves in India. These graffiti belong to the Anuradhapura Period(The 1st Kingdom of Sri Lanka) and it's style is very unique.
